Protector of the Chain
Protector of the Chain is an original fantasy universe developed through concept art, character design, and worldbuilding. Inspired by mythology, medieval cultures, and role-playing games, the project explores a civilization whose survival depends on protecting sacred chains that bind together fractured lands.
Created as a collectible character series, the project combines narrative design with generative digital art. Every character belongs to the same universe while carrying unique visual traits, equipment, and abilities, allowing each illustration to function both as an individual artwork and as part of a larger fictional world.
Protector of the Chain
Long ago, the gods bound the separated lands together with sacred chains, preserving the fragile balance between civilizations. Beneath these lands lies the Dip, a forbidden realm inhabited by ancient beings waiting for an opportunity to rise.
For generations, humanity has survived by following two sacred laws: protect your people, and never allow the creatures of the Dip to reach the surface. As darkness begins to spread, isolated communities must unite, forging alliances to defend the chains that hold their world together.
Among these defenders are the Spirits of the Mask warriors chosen by divine relics that grant extraordinary strength while demanding sacrifice. Every battle is fought not only for survival, but to preserve the fragile connections that keep the world from collapsing into chaos.
